Based in London, Jay Kodai Jones is a Paralegal and Legal Technology Assistant assisting the team to advise clients on data protection, commercial contracts, financial service regulations and market data.

Jay is starting his legal career at Bortstein Legal Group and is currently completing his Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) as part of his route to qualify as a lawyer. He is assisting on matters related to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).

Jay completed his undergraduate law degree (LL.B.) at Cardiff University where he undertook specialist courses in technology law and intellectual property. He also represented Cardiff University in multiple national public speaking competitions practising skills such as negotiation, mooting and debate.

Jay is currently studying Japanese and speaks Japanese at a competent level.
