Jacinta Noel is a qualified lawyer (solicitor) based in London, advising on data protection, commercial contracts, financial services regulations and market data.

As an Associate in the team in London, Jacinta works on all aspects of data protection compliance, including Record of Processing Activities updates, privacy notices, and data protection impact assessments. She also engages in transactional work, drafting and negotiating contracts and liaising with in-house legal counsel, information security teams and other stakeholders in order to provide practical and pragmatic advice.

Upon joining Bortstein Legal Group, Jacinta worked as a paralegal at the firm before her training contract. By way of continued professional development, Jacinta has completed the IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional in Europe (CIPP/E). Prior to joining Bortstein Legal Group, Jacinta worked in-house in both the private and public sectors, working on data subject access requests, and anti-bribery and corruption projects. She completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP University with Distinction and earned both undergraduate and postgraduate law degrees from the University of Exeter.

Jacinta is a member of the Society for Computers & Law (SCL) and the Society for Caribbean Lawyers (SOCAL).
