Julien Criard is a solicitor with extensive experience advising on commercial, technology and procurement matters and has advised clients on numerous outsourcing, software, cloud, consultancy, market data, index licensing, and other transactions. In addition to his law firm experience, Julien has worked in-house advising firms on EU regulatory implementation, including MiFID 2, GDPR, SMCR and EBA Guidelines. Outside of financial services, Julien also advised on the financing, construction and corporate aspects of infrastructure and renewable energy products.

Following graduation from his law degree with honors in Paris (Université Paris ll Pantheeon-Assas), Julien was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2011. He worked there for several years as an avocat à la cour, before moving to London where he was admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales in 2018. He has also studied at Trinity College, Dublin.
