Lisa Hertzberg is an experienced technology, outsourcing and commercial transactions attorney.
With nearly 20 years of experience as outside and in-house counsel, Lisa has extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex technology and sourcing transactions, ranging from multinational outsourcing transactions and complex software development projects to consulting and services agreements. She has worked with clients in all phases of these transactions, from structuring potential deals and preparing RFPs, through evaluating bids and negotiating final agreements. Lisa has experience with diverse industries, including financial services, technology and government entities.
Lisa’s previous experience as both in-house and outside counsel for both customers and providers of technology has given her a deep understanding of the legal, operational and business aspects of all types of technology transactions. Drawing on her experience, Lisa provides clients with practical commercial and legal advice.
Prior to joining BLG, Lisa was a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at one of the largest international IT companies. She also practiced law with one of the top global outsourcing practice groups in the US. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Lisa was a business consultant in the information technology industry. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and George Washington University Law School.
