Amy Kwalwasser is a corporate attorney with substantial experience in legal and compliance matters. She focuses on vendor contracts, compliance reviews, and extensive data review projects. Prior to joining BLG, Amy worked as in-house counsel advising on bond and loan trading, transactions, and research, as well as derivatives and equity trading, new businesses and products, and handling regulatory inquiries.
Much of Amy’s experience is in establishing and managing information barriers. She has advised on transactions, drafted policies and procedures, provided training, designed and implemented watch and restricted lists and related proprietary, flow, and personal trading surveillance reports and email surveillance, and reviewed research reports for publication.
As outside counsel, she worked in the corporate department of a large law firm, focusing on securities transactions, credit agreements, 1933 Securities Act and 1934 Exchange Act filings, and bankruptcy Chapter 11 debtors work.
