Adam Nelson is an attorney focused on intellectual property and technology transactions. Prior to joining BLG, Adam counseled small businesses and start-ups by drafting terms of service, privacy policies, and trademark applications at Fordham University School of Law’s Intellectual Property and Information Law Clinic. He also worked as a law clerk on a variety of litigation and transactional matters, including copyright infringement suits, trademark licensing contracts, and commercial disputes.
In addition to serving as a staff member of his law school’s Intellectual Property Law Journal, Adam is a published author on the topic of fair use and copyright law in the Twittersphere. He served as an editorial fellow at the prestigious Center on Law & Information Policy and founded Fordham’s Student Association for Law and Entrepreneurship. Prior to law school, Adam worked in music licensing and event promotions. He is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law and Wesleyan University.
